Lag Studs are for cable runs that must attach to the surface of a wall or post. The Lags are not tensioners as they must be anchored before the other end of your cable run is anchored so that the cable will not spin when you screw it into the post. The Lag Studs are paired with a tensioner such as a Threaded Terminal or Lag and Stud Turnbuckle. The Lags should only be anchored into wood surfaces and are good for indoor or outdoor applications. The Lag Studs are T316 "marine grade" stainless steel and hand-crimps onto the ends of your cable runs using a Hand Crimper Tool.
